- Shift focus to quality rather than quantity (initiatives)
- Shift to blended learning to allow year-round education
Parents/Community
- Offer face to face meetings with community parents and students to get them excited about 21st century teaching and learning (ie "look at the awesome things osseo did with mobile devices in the classroom")
- Hosting a technology and learning expo at the schools by students for parents, community, serve them treats! If possible, incorporate this with other events
- Contact TV, newspapers, radios to advertise the great things we`re doing
- Provide work-study programs for (secondary?) students out in the community
- Invite community and business leaders to collaborate with the schools on projects, programs, etc
- Present at rotary, lions, etc. clubs about 21st century learning and technology
- Incorporate technology into kindergarten round-up (ie graphing on the smartboard with parents)
- Invite parents involved in technology to present in classrooms about real-world, 21st century working environments. Also have them share this with parents!!
